Advanced Technical Theatre
Location: Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School
Dates: August '20-May '22
Developed an advanced curriculum for high school juniors and seniors in all aspects of technical theatre. Students perform special projects such as fully realized designs, site-studies, low voltage wiring projects and CAD conceptual drafting. Additionally, students learn advanced shop skills in areas such a scenic carpentry and sound engineering.
Intro to Technical Theatre

Developed a curriculum for varying levels of high school students in all aspects of technical theatre. Students learn the basics in technical theatre and theatrical design across a full year of class. Additionally, students learn hands on skills in areas such a scenic carpentry, scenic painting, theatrical electricity and sound engineering.
Intro to Rigging
Location: Department of Theatre - University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign
Dates: Spring 2019
Taught a previously planned curriculum and syllabus on the basics of rigging. Topics covered included hardware, basic mechanical design, basic weights of scenic units, rigging math (including bridles and pulley systems), and specific rigging application studies.
Stagecraft
Location: Department of Theatre - University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign
Dates: Fall 2019
Created syllabus with co-instructor, Andrea Stewart. Lectured and developed projects for primarily undergraduate students with little knowledge scenic carpentry. Graded projects and homework with a developed rubric.
Structures

Implemented review sessions twice a week to help graduate students in scenic technology with their homework. Held lecture when main lecturer was absent on combined loading conditions.
Advanced CAD Drafting for Lighting Designers (Vectorworks)

Dates: Fall 2016
Created a syllabus and projects to cover 2D and 3D Vectorworks drafting as well as the proper use and function of Lightwright 5. Solo lecturer. Covered USITT drafting standards.
Annual Safety Training
Location: Department of Theatre - University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign
Dates: Fall 2016-Fall 2019
Provided annual training on major equipment such as A-frame ladder, genie, harnesses, fly rail, etc. to new undergraduates, graduates, and union stagehands. Additionally, performed general theatre and shop safety orientations.
Southeastern Summer Theatre Institute Summer Programming
Position: Director of Technical Theatre Education
Location: Southeastern Summer Theatre Institute
Dates: Summer 2020 & 2021
Create a curriculum for high school students in the realm of technical theatre that allows them to experience each area of technical theatre (scenery, costumes, lighting, sound, and stage management) equally. Generate surveys to gauge student interest across each session and the activities associated with that session. Communicate with staff about needs for student involvement in each area on a day to day basis for student daily assignments. Teach masterclasses on topics such as work-life balance, Adobe programs, portfolio and resume creation, welding, crew management and leadership styles, computer networking, etc.
